Take your career further

One of our core values is that each and every employee is important. An organisation like ours depends on the dedication and commitment of the people who work here – both those who provide care to our residents and the people behind the scenes who make that care possible. The opportunity is there – all you have to do is take it!

Investing in your future

For you to really enjoy your role and provide the best possible care to our clients, it’s essential that you have the necessary skills, confidence and support. That’s why we take our training and support programme very seriously, and why we’ve enjoyed Investor in People status since 2001.

Induction training

It all starts from the moment you arrive. Our comprehensive induction programme will arm you with all of the essential skills and knowledge to do your job well.

We are accredited by Hertfordshire County Council to provide specialist dementia care, and we’re proud that all our staff receive relevant, on-going training. The training programme has four levels:

  • Dementia Awareness training, which is delivered to all staff.
  • QCF Level 2 Award in Dementia, undertaken by care staff.
  • QCF Level 3 Award in Dementia, undertaken by Care Team Managers.
  • NOCN accredited Level 3 Leadership in Dementia Care, undertaken by Regional Managers, Home Managers and Deputies.

Management training

If you join us in a managerial capacity you’ll benefit from bespoke development programmes that are tailored to your specific role. There’s one programme designed for Home Managers, a fast-track development programme for Deputy Managers and Care Team Managers, and a general leadership and management scheme for all other management grades.

Worried about undertaking a qualification?
